Cape Coral FL, October 15,2007 – Cape Coral Eye Center will be hosting representatives of the Japanese Division of Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. on Tuesday, October 23. They are visiting America to observe Dr. Farrell C. Tyson, Medical Director of the Cape Coral Eye Center, perform surgery and implant the ReZoom™ and Tecnis® Intraocular Lenses which were developed by Advanced Medical Optics, Inc.

Dr. Tyson was chosen for this educational visit because of his success in implanting the ReZoom™ and Tecnis® lenses. He was the first surgeon in Florida in a nonacademic setting to use the Tecnis® Lens, an intraocular lens which offers increased contrast sensitivity. It is the lens of choice for those whose primary concern is optimal vision for night driving. Dr. Tyson is one of the most experienced ophthalmologists in Florida implanting the new ReZoom™ intraocular lens which provides multiple focal points so people can see well at a variety of distances, resulting in greater independence from glasses or contact lenses.

In addition, Dr. Tyson has been requested to speak on the new ReZoom™ lenses at many of the most acclaimed ophthalmology meetings because of his outstanding post operative results with the new ReZoom™ lens.
