Cape Coral July 21, 2011 – Cape Coral Eye Center’s 4th annual awards breakfast was held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral. The morning was full of awards, recognition, photos and fun! The morning started with a nice breakfast provided by Gulf Coast Village and a welcome from the master of ceremonies, IT Manager Keith Lamb. Practice Consultant, Dr. Suzi Martin, gave a speech about the importance of training and education and discussed a bit about the training certificates. Keith put together a PowerPoint presentation for training certificate recognition by department with formal and informal photos of each staff member.
Dr. Farrell Tyson recognized all of the staff that had received any professional certifications over the last 12 months with a certificate of accomplishment. There were 13 professional certifications obtained and 1 high school graduate.
Nancy Brooks, Human Resources Manager, presented years of service lapel pins for 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 25 years and 30 years of loyal and dedicated service with the practice.
The breakfast was concluded with a speech regarding teamwork from CCEC’s medical director and CEO, Dr. Farrell Tyson.
