Renowned Ophthalmologist and Educator, Cristos Ifantides, M.D., M.B.A., Presents Three Seminars at the 13th Annual Congress of Cyprus Ophthalmological Society (CYOS)
The Cyprus Ophthalmological Society is delighted to announce that Dr. Cristos Ifantides, MD, MBA, was a featured guest speaker at the recent 13th Annual Congress. The event took place on November 18th and 19th, 2023, in Limassol – Cyprus. As part of the congress program, Dr. Ifantides spoke on Middle Segment Surgery, The White Cataract and Unexpected Loose Zonules. Sharing insights on the evolving landscape of ophthalmology.
Dr. Ifantides, a distinguished ophthalmologist and educator, brings a unique perspective to the middle segment of the eye and challenging cataract cases. With a background in ophthalmic education as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado, he is an ideal speaker for an audience of ophthalmic professionals.
Dr. Cristos Ifantides is a fellowship-trained, board-certified anterior segment surgeon who specializes in routine and complex surgeries of the front of the eye. He is a leader in the field and has pioneered new surgical techniques for complex anterior segment surgery that have been adopted across the world. He served as the Director for Ophthalmic Global Outreach and has worked on five continents around the world teaching, providing surgery, and helping local doctors get the training and resources they need to take care of their patients.
